最近,我完成了 Google Data Analytics Certification 的課程,這段學習之旅對我來說既熟悉又充滿新鮮感。課程內容紮實全面,除了過去熟悉的基礎概念之外,學習新的語言與工具: R 與 Tableau,並透過更多實際操作,更加理解如何將這些工具應用在 HR 與 IT 領域。
其中,讓我印象最深刻的是最後的 Capstone Project,它讓我結合了課程中學到的 Ask, Prepare, Process, Analyze, Share, Act 六大步驟,完成了一個有趣的 side project — — 尋找未來的明日之星。
這個專案的核心概念是利用去識別化的績效數據,結合公司的 Vision, Mission, Goal 及企業文化,來分析與預測應徵者在公司未來可能的績效表現。我設計了一個能將職缺的 JD 、新人的 Resume 與公司過往績效關鍵字 做對比分析的工具,產生有價值的洞察與預測,不僅幫助企業做出更精準的招募決策,也能讓應徵者更了解自己的潛力與文化適配度。
雖然這個專案目前只停留在資料分析的階段,但基於在IT與系統開發的多年經驗,我相信這樣的工具系統一旦實現,將會對企業與人才市場帶來雙贏的價值!希望有機會能與各位分享更多有趣的想法與實踐經驗。
Recently, I completed the Google Data Analytics Certification, which has been a rewarding and enlightening journey. The course provided comprehensive and practical training, and while much of the content aligned with my past experience, it was refreshing to revisit R and Tableau, gaining deeper insights into their applications in the HR and IT domains.
The highlight of the certification for me was the final Capstone Project, where I applied the six key steps of Ask, Prepare, Process, Analyze, Share, Act to create a fascinating side project called “Discovering Future Stars.”
This project revolves around leveraging anonymized performance data and combining it with a company’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and culture to analyze and predict potential performance outcomes for candidates. I conceptualized a tool that matches job descriptions with resumes, generating valuable insights to assist companies in making more precise hiring decisions while helping candidates understand their potential and fit.
Although this project is currently limited to data analysis, with my experience in HRIS/IT and system development, I believe this tool could evolve into a highly impactful solution, bringing significant value to both companies and candidates.
